National Program for Inspection of Non-Federal Dams. Gove Dike (NH 00135), State Number 184.03, Piscataqua River Basin, Nottingham, New Hampshire. Phase I Inspection Report.

Abstract

The dike is about 9 ft. high and 270 ft. long. It is an earthen embankment contained between a nearly vertical wall of rounded boulders upstream and a vertical dry masonry wall downstream. The dike is in fair condition. The owner should monitor seepage weekly as well as clear brush on the access road and downstream of the dike. (Author)
