Review of Army Analysis Extended (RAAEX). Volume 2. Task Reports

Abstract

This is Volume 2: Task Reports and Appendices, representing work done in support of 1984 Army study to redefine 'Studies and Analysis.' The USofA requested that the original review be extended to include interrelationships with test and evaluation, intelligence, costing, and vulnerability/lethality, aspects not included previously. The purpose of this review is to further improve the contribution made by analysis to illumination of issues of interest to the Army and to the solution of Army problems building the improvements initiated with the Review of Army Analysis conducted in 1978. Identify practicable actions which would improve the following: Problems Selected for Study and Analysis; Quality of Work, Productivity, Organizational Arrangements; Support to the Army in the Field - The Army analysis community should provide support to the functions of training, planning, and operations.
