Abstract

The dam is a concrete gravity overflow structure constructed between three depressions in a ledge outcropping that forms the bottom of the Ammonoosuc River channel at this location. The dam is considered to be in poor condition. There are various major concerns which should be corrected to assure the continued performance of the dam. It is small in size with a significant hazard potential. (Author).
