Abstract

Glen Road Dam has a hydraulic height of 22 ft, is 175 ft in length, and 5 ft wide at the crest, It is a run-of-the-river timber-crib dam, with crest faced on upstream and downstream sides with plank decking. A 6-ft. low-flow sluiceway, centrally located in the spillway, has had the gate lift mechanism removed. The dam is in very poor condition and there are various major concerns which must be corrected, It is small in size with a significant hazard potential classification.
