Abstract

The Knox Mill Dam is a stone masonry, gravity dam. It has concrete and earth wing walls. The dam is about 27 ft. high and has an overall length of about 650 ft. Based on the visual inspection, and reports of past operational performance, the dam is judged to be in good condition. There are areas of concern which must be corrected to improve the long-term safety of the dam. It is small in size with a hazard potential of high.
