National Program for Inspection of Non-Federal Dams. Thurman W Dix Reservoir (VT 00069) Richelieu River Basin, Orange, Vermont. Phase I Inspection Report.

Abstract

The dam is about 950 ft. long and has a structural height of 50 ft. It is intermediate in size with a low hazard classification. The test flood for the dam is 1/2 the PMF. The dam is judged to be in good condition. Between the training walls and the bridge abutment the concrete is spalled exposing the reinforcing. There are various recommendations which should be implemented by the owner.
