New Directions in Training Simulation Research: Generating, Handling, and Delivering Empirically Based Decision Support

Abstract

This paper provides an overview of recently completed, ongoing, and planned research designed to provide empirically based decision support for training device and training system design. The paper is organized into two main sections: (1) generating new empirical data on training device design and use, and (2) handling data and delivering empirically based decision support.
