Computer Aided Instruction in Engineering.

Abstract

This thesis presents evidence that computer aided instruction (CAI) is effective and can improve instructional efficiency when it is properly implemented. An overview of CAI in other colleges is presented as a source of ideas. The Department of Aeronautics of the Naval Postgraduate School is used as an example of where CAI can be applied. Procedures for the proper implementation of CAI are presented; and the summary includes specific recommendations for the Aeronautics Department. (Author).
