Effective Date (E-DATE) Model Documentation. Volume 1. Functional Description.

Abstract

A set of documentation has been reissued for the Effective Date (E-DATE) Model following DOD documentation standards (DOD 7935.1-S). The earlier documentation, including a volume of changes, is superseded by the new issue. Four types of documentation were generated as follows: A functional description, a user's manual, a computer operation manual, and a program maintenance manual (including system/subscription and program specifications into a single volume). The remaining documentation types described in the DOD standards were not considered applicable. This is volume 1, Functional Description. Keywords: E-Date Model, documentation, functional description, program maintenance manual, user's manual, computer operation manual, decision-support system, logistics, TAEDP, unit readiness, equipment redistribution.
