General Plot Subroutine Package for the Hewlett Packard 5451C Fourier Analyzer.

Abstract

The Hewlett Packard (HP) 5451C Fourier Analyzer formerly supported two plot packages: One in the Fourier environment and one in the Real Time Executive(RTE) environment. Thus, programs which produced graphic output in the Fourier environment could not run in the RTE environment and conversely. Therefore, it was necessary to develop a standard package of plot subroutines that could run under any operating system. The package is comprised of several FORTRAN subroutines which interact directly with the plot devices, and also provide the capability to plot to the operator's terminal. The data plotting package has been found to be extremely useful for graphic output on the HP-5451C because it can run under any operating system. The plot package has been tested on the HP-5451C system and can be recommended to users with a similar need. (Author)
