Data Analysis of Airborne Electromagnetic Bathymetry.

Abstract

This report describes an experimental evaluation of the concept of airborne electromagnetic bathymetry. The airborne electromagnetic data that forms the basis of this project was acquired with the Mark VI INPUT system along a 17-mile-long flight path off Cape Breton Island in the province of Nova Scotia. The water depth beneath the flight path ranged from 0 to more than 40 m. Keywords: Airborne electromagnetic bathymetry; magnetic fields; geology. (Author)
