Basic Studies of Ion Mixing.

Abstract

This is a progress report for the project 'Basic Studies of Ion Mixing', after the first year of a three - year contract. The major objectives of this work are to identify systematic trends that reveal the important parameters of ion beam mixing, and to investigate the relationship between the mechanisms of ion mixing and thermal processing.
