National Program for Inspection of Non-Federal Dams. Knapp Brook Site Number 2 (VT. 00077) Connecticut River Basin, Cavendish, Vermont. Phase I Inspection Report.

Abstract

The dam is an earth embankment with clay core about 540 ft. long and 27 ft. high. The dam is small in size with a significant hazard potential. The test flood is 1/2 the PMF. The dam is judged to be in fair condition although there were a few concerns noted. There are various recommendations which should be undertaken by the owner.
