Total and Partial Absorption Coefficients for a Nitrogen Plasma

Abstract

A detailed description of the absorption cross sections in a nitrogen plasma is given. The results are presented for partial and total absorption coefficients, where the components are the bound-bound, the bound free and the free-free absorptions. Use is made of nitrogen plasma composition as a function of the electron density and temperature calculated earlier. Keywords include: Radiative transfer.
