Modeling of Equilibrium Gas Adsorption for Multicomponent Vapor Mixtures

Abstract

Adsorption data has been obtained for CHCl3/CCl4 binary vapor mixtures on BPL-activated carbons and interpreted in terms of the Dubinin- Polanyi equation. The kinetics of adsorption for CHCl3/CCl4, n-hexane/benzene and CH2Cl2/CHCl3 binary vapor mixtures have been determined on BPL-activated carbon and interpreted in terms of the Wheeler equation.
