Low-Level Wind Systems in the Warsaw Pact Countries.

Abstract

This technical note provides a comprehensive survey of local wind systems in the Warsaw Pact and adjacent NATO and neutral countries. The region surveyed is divided into two geographical areas that cover most of Europe. Local winds are named and related to listed meteorological definitions.
