Aquatic Plant Control Research Program. Moneoecious hydrilla in the Potomac River.

Abstract

This report provides: (1) An evaluation of physical and chemical characteristics of the Potomac River that may influence the growth and distribution of Hydrilla. (2) A review of literature on the ecology of submersed aquatic vegetation with emphasis on Hydrilla. (3) A review of the chemical, biological, and mechanical/physical technologies available to control Hydrilla. and (4) Conclusions and recommendations, with specific application to moneoecious Hydrilla in the Potomac.
