Training Extension Course Validation

Abstract

This report presents the results of an analysis of sample training extension course (TEC) validation efforts. The conclusion of the report is that subject matter expert input and the use of hands-on testing are critical to the success of validation efforts. Validation could also be improved through the confirmation of the validity of training doctrine, through use of more adequate resources, through the random selection of samples, and through acquiring a better understanding of the target audience. Keywords: Lesson validation; Training effectiveness; Training evaluation; Performance oriented training.
