Privatizing the Public Sector: An Alternative.

Abstract

The purpose of this report is to analyze the concept of privatization and provide the basic steps to understanding how a privatization contract works. With the information provided by this report, one should be able to determine whether this method of contracting is applicable to his needs or the needs of his municipality. It is intended that this will be the first of a series of reports written at the University of Florida giving a detailed review of all aspects of privatization. The goal of this series of reports is to develop a graduate level management/contracting/public works operations course.
