Laser Pumped Frequency Standards.

Abstract

The objective of the research program is an investigation into the feasibility of using the stimulated resonance Raman effect in an atomic beam for time and frequency standards, as well as spectroscopic applications in the microwave to the far infrared frequency range. Keywords: Stimulated resonance Raman effect; Portable Cesium Beam Clocks; Spectroscopic applications; Microwave and far infrared frequency range.
