Data Analysis of the NOAA-GIT (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration-Georgia Institute of Technology) Millimeter-Wave Propagation Experiment Near Flatville, Illinois.

Abstract

The authors discuss the quantities calculated from the millimeter-wave and micrometorological data base. The data base was obtained from the millimeter-wave propagation experiment conducted near Flatville, Illinois, by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and Georgia Institute of Technology (GIT). The repair of data-base errors by digital computation is alos discussed, and the overall structure of the data-processing programming is described. Keywords include: Millimeter Waves; Wave Propagation; Micrometeorology; Data base; Data processing; and Computer programming.
