Computation of Flow and Heat Transfer in Flow Around a 180 deg Bend,

Abstract

This research year saw the completion of the research on turbulent convective heat transfer in 180 deg bends. The main research effort during the year was directed at bends of circular cross section. Two sections deal with experimental and computational aspects of this work. These are preceded by a brief account of further computational work in the squared-sectional duct.
