On Detection of Number of Signals in Presence of Colored Noise Using Information Theoretic Criteria

Abstract

In this paper, the authors proposed information theoretic criteria for detection of the number of signals when the noise is colored. The strong consistency of these criteria is also established. Keywords include: Colored noise; Information theoretic criteria; Likelihood ratio tests; Signal detection; and Strong consistency.
