The AFGL (Air Force Geophysics Laboratory) Absolute Gravity System's Error Budget Revisted.

Abstract

The error budget for the absolute gravity measuring instrument has been reevaluated for the purpose of locating and correcting an apparent bias that appeared in the data at the gravity lab early in 1981. The results of this analysis reveal a major equipment-induced error and minor data reduction errors. Revised gravity values at various sites across the U.S. and Sevres, France are given along with values obtained with other instruments at collocated sites. Keywords: Absolute gravity; Gravity; Interferometer.
