An Investigation into Principles for Design of a Multiple Dipole HF (High-Frequency)-Antenna Configuration.

Abstract

Analysis of a dipole HF-antenna site configuration involving multiple dipole antennas, feeder lines, and supporting structures. Calculation of the current distribution along the antenna wires, and the distribution of the parasitic currents along the feeder lines and supporing structures depending on frequency and feeder system. Calculation of the radiation patterns concerning the parasitic currents. 3D-presentation of the results. Keywords include: Dipole; HF-range; Multiple dipole HF-antenna site; Mutual coupling; Radiation pattern; Current distribution; Feeder systems; Cobra head feeder; Feeder line; Parasitic currents; Antenna; and Antenna resonance.
