A Mobilization Preparedness Primer for Water Management at Ammunition Plants.

Abstract

Water management for ammunition manufacture begins with projections of needs and competition for water at production sites. Categories of water and water use are analyzed by source, use, recycling, and discharge. Examples of creative quick fixes to meet water needs are given. A checklist of telltale signs for managers is given to enable them to increase attention to water management when necessary for reliable ammunition plant operation.
