Monolithic Cathodes.

Abstract

The purpose of this program was to evaluate LaB6 (210) and (310) oriented single crystal material for flat cathode applications and to deliver mounted LaB6 cathodes with (310) orientation for operation in RADC/Varian life test vehicles. To that end, the program was divided into four separate tasks, as shown in the report. This project was extended for 3 months past the initial program period, at not additional cost, so that unavoidable delays could be overcome and the project completed.
