Abstract

The purpose of the study was to analyze and determine the total Scientific and Engineering computing requirements of MICOM(Missile Command) over the near-term (5 yrs) and long-term (10 yrs); and to determine the best way to satisfy the computing requirements over the near and long-term. S/E Computing Requirements had to be analyzed for technical approaches and alternatives; and to develp a Master Plan and Implementation Strategy aimed at meeting the requirements in a cost-effective and forward-looking manner. An Executive Summary, a Management Overview and a Requirements Analysis Technical Report where produced.
