Mineral Deposits and Mineral Potential of the Randsburg Wash Test Range.

Abstract

This report presents the results of a literature search and an appropriate field survey of all reported claims and prospects on the Randsburg Wash Test Range (RWTR) China Lake, California and in the area of the RWTR access road. The field survey was of sufficient scope to ensure the validity of the literature and to obtain data on minerals of current high interest. The mineral commodities evaluated include gold, silver, iron, mercury, uranium, semiprecious gems, building stone, gravel, volcanic ash, geothermal, and water resources. Each of the resources is described and the location mapped. Assay results and a detailed water analysis are included.
