The Bimolecular Reactions of Oxidizing Agents with Free Radicals of the Form PX: The Role of Complex Nuclear Motion.

Abstract

Experimental results are presented wherein nascent PO(X2pi) is detected following the collision-free infrared multiple photon excitation and dissociation of several volatile organosphosphorus molecules which lead to PO via a sequence of bond fission reactions. Keywords: Unimolecular; Spin-orbit; Spectroscopically; Ionization; Collisions.
