Cultural Resource Monitoring at the Henny Langer Site (21CA58), Gull Lake, Cass County, Minnesota,

Abstract

In June, 1983, the Army Corps of Engineers began construction of a recreation area of the east side of Gull Lake in Cass County, Minnesota, consisting of a road and parking area, boat ramp, beach, restroom/change house, and public well. During construction, surface collections were made, but no significant concentrations of cultural material were noted. The type and distribution of cultural material found was not inconsistent with previous reports at the Langer Site. No further on-site monitoring is recommended.
