Boost Control Design for Spinning Missile.

Abstract

A compensation scheme is presented for the pitch-yaw control system of a strategic missile which maintains stability and performance while the missile spins. The conventional missile control design for boost has uncoupled pitch, yaw and roll channels ideally suited for a non-rolling missile. The effect roll has on the conventional pitch-yaw controller is discussed and the development and simulation of a modified system is presented. Keywords: Spinning missile; and Thrust vector control.
