Man as an Information Processor: A Bibliography (1972-1976).
Abstract
In our environment man is constantly receiving information, interpreting it, and acting on it. This bibliography encompasses the literature dealing with the final two stages of this process. Information processing is the psychological label that has been used to describe the cognitive activities that play a mediating role between environmental stimuli and responses that individuals make. The general areas that are covered in this bibliography deal with the research covering the areas of information storage (memory) and action implementation (decision theory and problem solving).
