Desert Emergency - Lack of Water - How to Find and Collect Water. Plants and Human Survival in the Desert.

Abstract

This study concentrated on the plant and environmental factors which influence the yield of water transpiration which can be collected from 2 widespread plant species, Retama raetam and Phragmites australis; the latter plant gives a much higher yield. This is one of several other methods mentioned which could be of help in saving people stranded in the desert without water. (Author)
