A Survey of Videodisc Technology.

Abstract

In today's computer-based military environment the interactive videodisc offers a means to an efficient education and training system. It allows interactive instruction capable of responding to individual needs. Interactive videodisc also has potential as a mass storage and retrieval system accommodating complete catalogs of printed material. This thesis focuses on a number of studies completed on this new technology. (Author)
