Weapon System and Equipment Support Analysis: Development of Management and Application Handbook.

Abstract

The development of a draft handbook for (management and application of) weapon system and equipment support analysis (WSESA) required the researchers to conduct site surveys at multiple Air Force organizations involved in WSESA programs. Observations made during these meetings with Deputy Program Managers for Logistics/Integrated Logistics Support Managers (DPMLs/ILSMs) provided guidance for the handbook development. This paper describes the six tasks that were performed in developing the handbook, records the observations made in carrying out the surveys, and provides several conclusions and recommendations.
