Methodology for Integration Testing of Aircrew Clothing and Equipment

Abstract

This report recommends a comprehensive range of tests for the integration and viability of an aircrew personal protective ensemble (PPE) or an item of PPE for use in an aircraft. It is emphasized that these tests are additional to any type test schedules for individual items of PPE. Test described in this report should be completed satisfactorily before the item or assembly is submitted for flight test evaluation.
