Leadership Handbook for the Armor Officer. Volume 1. Thoughts on Leadership

Abstract

Thoughts on Leadership, Volume 1 of the Leadership Handbook for the Armor Officer, was designed in an effort to more completely prepare the junior officer for duty and command in today's Army. It is not intended to be a complete answer to all questions but to stimulate thought and serve as a reference point for officers. The challenge of successful leadership is one that can be learned in part by study of successful leaders as General Bruce C Clarke, or General George S Patton Jr. and by experience. Thoughts on Leadership is taken from a variety of sources and examples that may make the experience easier.
