Defense Small Business Innovation Research Program (SBIR) FY 1985.

Abstract

Objectives of the DOD-SBIR Program include stimulating technological innovation in the private sector, strengthening the role of small business in meeting DOD research and development needs, fostering and encouraging participation by minority and disadvantaged persons in technological innovation, and increasing the commercial application of DOD-supported research or research and development results. This document covers a description of the program, definitions, proposal preparation instructions, submission of proposals, method of selection and evaluation criteria, contractural considerations, scientific and technical information analysis, how to contact DOD and descriptions of topics to be researched in each military service and agency.
