Revision and Update of AFP (Air Force Pamphlet) 30-6.

Abstract

The Air Force dining-in plays a major role in the preservation of military traditions, heritage, and ceremony. Considerable confusion and misconceptions exist concerning military etiquette requirements within a structured setting, more specifically the dining-in. Within a historical context, the revised and updated guide concentrate on the basics of planning and executing a dining-in while focusing on the professional aspects of the function. The guide is intended for use by the project officer and his commander. It should be used as a tool in putting on a first class event to be incorporated with local procedures and tradition.
