The US Army Yuma Proving Ground, Arizona 22-Year Climate Calendar 1954-1975

Abstract

This report contains, in calendar form, the following data for the Yuma Proving Ground, AZ: average daily maximum and minimum temperatures, record extremes of these parameters, and year of occurrences; monthly average maximum and minimum temperatures, and average relative humidity; average windspeed in knots; prevailing wind direction; average and maximum precipitation values daily and by month; average sky cover and average number of days clear, partly cloudy, and cloudy. Tables covering data of interest include: maximum and minimum temperatures, to include total occurrences and percentage of overall occurrence as well as monthly percentages of occurrence; seasonal maximum, minimum, and daily average temperatures; precipitation by monthly occurrence and monthly and annual totals; sky condition; relative humidity; soil temperatures; station atmospheric pressure; degree days both heating and cooling; and sunrise-sunset tables.
