Connecticut ELF (Extremely Low Frequency) Field-Strength Measurements, August to December 1977 and July to September 1978.

Abstract

From August 1976 to September 1978, extremely low frequency (ELF) field-strength measurements were taken continuously in Connecticut. The results of measurements taken from August to December 1977 and from July to September 1978 are discussed in this report. The principal result is that, for the 2 year period of August 1976 to September 1978, amplitude peak-to-trough variations of 5 dB, or greater, were observed 25 percent of the time. Keywords include: ELF Propagation Measurements, Connecticut, Nighttime Fades.
