Abstract
This report provides an evaluation of the inspection data and historical information provided by the Underwater Construction Team Two's inspection of the Fleet Moorings at Pearl harbor, HI. This data is combined with the additional information obtained by the Chesapeake Division's Ocean Engineering and Construction project Office, FPO-1, prior to, during and after the actual inspection of fleet moorings and is used to provide a report on the underwater portions of the forty-three moorings and to provide recommendations concerning the utilization, overhaul, or downgrading of the mooring. Re-classification, downgrading, repair or overhaul of thirty-seven moorings is recommended. A brief summary of the current mooring classification, the area of the mooring concerned with the particular re-classification or recommendation for overhaul or the re-classification of mooring capacity is tabulated.
