Abstract

Twenty-seven projects of Independent Research/Independent Exploratory Development were funded by the NPS Foundation Research Program. This research was in the areas of Computer Science, Mathematics, Administrative Sciences, Physics, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Meteorology, Aeronautics, and Mechanical Engineering. A tabulation in the Appendix identifies the area of research and the investigator(s). The category of independent research or independent exploratory development is also identified for each research task. (Author)
