Equipment for Subpicosecond Extreme Ultraviolet Facility.

Abstract

The research program underway at the University of Illinois at Chicago, whose main goal is the development of coherent x-ray sources in the kilovolt range, is described. The new femtosecond source developed under the equipment grant provided by the Air Force has been placed in operation. Keywords included: Ultraviolet and x-ray lasers.
