Modeling Aircraft Attrition in the Air Defense Environment.

Abstract

This thesis presents a high resolution, computer simulation model of aircraft attrition in the air defense environment. The model employs extensive pre-processing submodels and programs in order to efficiently examine tactical scenarios and reduce program execution time. The pre-processing outputs are loaded into a dynamic simulation submodel to analyze the aircraft/air defense engagement sequence. The overall simulation model is modular and can be easily modified to satisfy the user's particular analysis objectives. Keywords: Air Defense Modeling, Air Combat Modeling.
