Welding Research in Scandinavia: An Assessment.

Abstract

This report briefly describes the contributions that the Scandinavian countries--Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden--are making topics which should be closely followed by US researchers are hyperbaric welding, Computer aided Design/Computer aided manufacturing, applications to welding, mathematical modeling of the weld process, and hydrogen assisted cracking of steel welds.
