Precision Imagery and Audiovisual Media Maintenance Career Ladder AFSC 404X0.

Abstract

This is a report of an occupational survey of the Precision Imagery and Audiovisual Media Maintenance career ladder completed by the Occupational Analysis Division, USAF Occupational Measurement Center, in April 1986. The specialty was last surveyed in May 1981. A specific issue to be considered in this report is the evaluation of the amount and type of electronics principles training necessary due to a substantial influx of electronics equipment entering the field. Along with the training issue, many other areas will be analyzed in this occupational survey report (OSR). Some of these include specialized job identification, major command differences, continental United States (CONUS) versus overseas differences, as well as differences by paygrade, total active federal military service (TAFMS), and duty AFSC skill level groups. Job satisfaction data, such as perceived utilization of talents and reenlistment intentions, will also be reviewed.
