Research Issues in Power Conditioning: A workshop Held at Los Angeles, California on 3-4 December 1985.

Abstract

The workshop was organized to address a problem that has arisen in the area of pulsed power, or power conditioning research. The problem is the development of a gap between applied physics research that deals with fundamental device physics, and the development of improved pulsed power devices. The purpose of the workshop was to work to change and impedance mismatch, and foster communication between research and pulsed power engineering. Keywords include: Pulsed power; Power conditioning; Switches; Plasma; Simulation; Microwave; and Particle beams.
