Research was conducted in three general areas: (A) Environmental acoustics; (B) Moving sources and/or receivers; and (C) Basic theory. Studies under (a) are divided into four categories: (1) Eddies and fronts, (2) Currents, (3) Bottom effects and (4) Internal waves and tides.
